Relation of fish oil with weight loss


Gaining weight and consumption of fat is a concern for every human being and for years there have several theories and medications published in this regard by eminent doctors and nutritionists. Of the several theories stated this is a proven fact that fish oil is a nutrient found in seafood and it contains omega 3 fatty acids which are favorable for healthy heart and as per research conducted with proper exercise the oil consumption conducts more weight loss than other fat consumption.

Fish Oil implies to the fat extracted from fishes like salmon, tuna, albacore and mackerel and it includes DHA and EPA which are important nutrients of the body. It also helps to reduce inflammation in the body. Benefits from this oil include reduced threat of heart attacks and stroke if a regular consumption is followed. Other than this it also facilitates lowering of cholesterol level and keep healthy blood pressure. Even the arterial plague gets reduced with consumption of this oil. However it is essential to maintain the dosage of this oil which is 0.3 to a maximum of 0.5mg per day. That combines to make 1000mg tables at a rate of two per day.

Many people prefer to take herbal weight loss supplements to control the gaining weight. But monitoring closely it can be found that today there are weight loss supplements which include the nutrients of fish oil and accept the benefits of it. As per studies conducted in the University Of Australia, not only this oil helps in weight reduction but also increases the fat burning ability and blood flow to the muscles.

Fish oil is a widely available product and in today it is available in almost every drug store. Apart from this the higher versions are also available in the health stores considering the benefit of it. This is to be adapted when anybody fails to consume fish, but it is to be kept in mind that fish oil inclusion in a diet is not equivalent to consuming real fish. It is proved that intake of actual fish gives much more benefit than the supplements. However since this gives weight loss benefits, it should not be concluded that consuming more than enough quantity will give added results. A well balanced diet along with proper exercise is mandatory to get the desired effects. Without exercise the only consumption of oil will give little benefit.
